Cidney Mayes is a teacher librarian who writes. She has a MLIS from PennWest (formerly Clarion) University and is pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a Yale Writers Workshop Alumni. She loves speculative fiction that is lush, dark, and hopeful.
